Rack Repair (welded joints)
1. Scrape “bubbled" or loose rack coating off affected areas.
Scrape or sand off as much rust as possible. Wipe with
dry cloth.
2 Spread liquid vinyl onto scraped area and allow to dry for
1 hour. Put 2nd coat on and allow to dry 1 more hour.
NOTE: Be sure to replace cap tightly on bottle. Not doing so
will cause it to dry out prematurely.
Tine Repair
1. Repeat step 1 above.
2. Hold vinyl cap upside down w/open end pointing up.
Squeeze the air out of the cap. As you put a drop of
liquid vinyl on the hole…let air back into the cap. The
liquid vinyl will be sucked into the cap. Put in 2 drops
then slide the cap onto the tine far as it will go.
NOTE: Caps will NOT stay on tines during wash cycles
without being “glued” with liquid vinyl first.
